Ray Road Re-pavement Makes Getting to School Easier No more dusty roads or bumpy rides, Ray Road is paved.
There is no need to worry about pot holes or the mud trashing your car after it rains. You also don’t need to fear big gravel trucks barreling down the road causing wear and tear. Last year, driving on that road in an endless cloud of dust, unable to see the tail lights on the car in front of you with random rocks flying up towards your windshield, was annoying and sometimes challenging. That will not be the case this year.
Whatever way you go to school, know that it will be easier because it will be a smoother ride or you will have less traffic. “I’m so glad Ray Road is paved now, it is so much easier driving to school than last year,” said junior Claire Wolanin. One-hundred percent of students that were asked if the paving of the road made getting to and from school more trouble free agreed that it was. The road was closed from June 29th to Labor Day and opened just in time for school. Although the road is open as of now, there is a bit of work left to be done. It’s estimated that the road will be completely finished October 16th. |
