Our Goal

The Adventure Club aims to develop and teach life skills, including cooperative learning, to students. While students participate in a number of non-competitive, outward-bound activities, they learn to devise a plan and solutions to problems that exist outside of their everyday world. Students build new social skills in a number of activities. They are also given the opportunity to build friendships, resolve disagreements, and work closely with others of diverse backgrounds. Teaching skills to students that they will use throughout life is our goal.

"The first time we went to Les Cheneaux Islands in the U.P. was one of the highlights of my high school career."
